Wine and Food Festival at Meadow Brook

10TH ANNUAL WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL SET TO RETURN TO
MEADOW BROOK MUSIC FESTIVAL AUGUST 28 & 29

Meadow Brook Music Festival is hosting its 10th Annual Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, August 28 from 1 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 29 from 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Tickets for adults are $18 in advance and $25 at the door, and include eight free wine samples, a complimentary wine glass, wine and food seminars, exhibits and live music. Designated Driver tickets may be purchased for $10 and include two free soft drinks. There will be free admission for those under 21 years of age. Discounted tickets at $15 are available at all Kroger locations.

Tickets are on sale now at Palacenet.com, The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre Box Offices and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets will also be available at the Meadow Brook Music Festival Box Office the day of the event. Each ticket is valid for one-day admission to the festival grounds.

Tickets may also be charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Award-winning wineries throughout the state of Michigan and across the globe will be on hand showcasing more than 100 varieties of wine including Chardonnay, Merlots, Rieslings, Sparkling, Dry Red and dessert wines. The festival’s on-site retail store will have select wines available for purchase at the event. A complete list of components will be announced closer to the festival dates.

In addition to wine sampling, there will be various food vendors and seminars covering wine, food and other topics of interest. Festival goers will also enjoy continuous live music, glass-blowing demonstrations and special exhibits and displays throughout the weekend. (See attached fact sheet with details of components.)

Presenting sponsor Kroger will host a tent featuring a free sampling of ice cream with blueberries, salads and cheese and crackers.

A special sales area will allow attendees to purchase wine by the bottle or discounted by the case.

The Wine and Food Festival at Meadow Brook Music Festival is sponsored by Palace Sports & Entertainment, Kroger, The Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council and is a part of the Belle Tire Concert Series.
